Inclusive terms

In the book, you use the alex style implementation for inclusive language, but the folks at Redocly have a compact rule that might work better if you need the basics:

This substitution rule offers alternative wording to help writers be consistent:

extends: substitution
message: 'Use inclusive language. Consider "%s" instead of "%s".'
link: https://intranet.redocly.com/content/documentation-style-guide/#grammar-and-syntax
level: error
ignorecase: true
swap:
  he: they
  his: their
  she: they
  hers: their
  blacklist(?:ed|ing|s)?: blocklist
  whitelist(?:ed|ing|s)?: allowlist
  master: primary, main
  slave: replica
  he/she: they
  s/he: they

You could use this rule and add your own substitutions, keeping things light.
