Avoid 'There Is' and 'There are' in sentences

Starting a sentence with “There is” or “There are” is weak. The following rule identifies those places.

extends: existence
message: "Don't start a sentence with '%s'."
ignorecase: false
level: error
raw:
  - '(?:[;-]\s)There\s(is|are)|\bThere\s(is|are)\b'

It uses a raw scope so it does look through the entire document, including code and other content. But that’s for the best if you want consistency.
